Well, there has been a slight break in transmission here as Zappy Mazz has been off in the wilds of North East London working as a creative assistant with the incredibly skilled and talented Billie Achilleos She will be back next week with more exciting updates!

Fact #10 - Zappy Mazz is an Auntie!

Zappy Mazz is the youngest of 3 children, with two grown up siblings who have both produced some rather marvelous young sproglings of their own:

Auntie Mazz is ringleader of exciting expeditions...

and instigator of all the naughtiest (but most fun!) shenanigans.

This is great because it means she can have lots of fun thinking up exciting things to do and inventing new games to play but then give the little angels back at the end of the day when thay are all stickly and hungry and tired and wet - Bwahahaha! Ahem...

Dog Juggling....(History part the 3rd)

Hello again!

I hope you had a lovely weekend?

Here is another insight into Zappy Mazz's past:

When she was at University she missed her own little dog Scrib so much that she joined Battersea Dogs & Cats Home's team of Volunteers, she worked both as a dog socialiser and as an events volunteer which meant she learned lots of interesting new things about canine behaviour (and even how to give a dog a massage!) and also got to perform with dogs at several events across London to raise awareness of the wonderful work they do for animals who have fallen on hard times...

She hasn't actually juggled dogs through a flaming hoop, but never say never!

Project ZM Fact #9 - Animation Rocks!

Its Friday!!! and Zappy Mazz loves Friday because that means IT'S TIME FOR THE FRIDAY DANCE!

Also it means its a good night to go and catch up on how your friends are doing, reminisce over the week or indulge in....

FACT #9 - Zappy Mazz loves a good film, but ESPECIALLY a good ANIMATION!

In fact the pride and overwhelming respect she feels for the amazing expenditure of human skill and dedication that goes into producing one of these works of art often makes her get a little bit emotional when she watches one...

So to all those crazy. hard working Animators out there.... Zappy Mazz Salutes You! (and that means all of you, from the concept artists, through the modellers and riggers right out past the people who wibble those puppets around and right out the other end to the shaders and colourists....)

Project ZM on the joys of being British...

Good Morning!

Now Zappy Mazz is a very English little monster (No no no, that doesn't mean she engages in binge drinking and being a public menace in spanish resorts *shudders*) what it does mean is:

FACT #8 - Zappy mazz LOVES A CUPPA!

A little like your mother, Zappy Mazz believes that a nice hot beverage is good for the soul and is happy to perscribe one to anyone she meets who looks in need, don't worry though, she won't try and make you comb your hair or wear a warm coat!

If you let her Zappy Mazz would drink her tea in Pints.

And sleep on a bed or Earl Grey teabags.

Zappy Mazz's favourite bedtime story is the one about the little green monster who finds herself pressed into sleeping on a bed of 100 teabags to see if she can feel the poor pea they have trapped beneath it. The monster finds the pea and rescues it and they become firm friends and have many adventures together...

What do you mean you haven't heard that one before? I'll find you a copy to borrow.

Some more history - And a Newsflash!

Here is today's update for Project ZM and we're going to go a little bit into her history again now, we've covered her birth already haven't we? 

Well, several years after that happy event Zappy Mazz decided that she would like to set off and see the world ...  

She worked very hard to save up her pennies and then she set out with her trusty backpack to travel the east coast of Australia.

She started out alone which was a little intimidating, but when Mazz feels intimidated she just rolls up her sleeves and takes that situation by the scruff of it neck - very soon Mazz had seen lots of interesting things and met lots of lovely people and by the time she left she'd forgotten she ever felt intimidated at all!

NEWSFLASH! Zappy Mazz has just had a phonecall and she has a secret liason next Tuesday... We  don't know any details yet but watch this space!

Project ZM Fact#8

Oh dear.... Mondays? They don't have to be so bad you know...

Zappy Mazz likes hearing what people have been up to on their weekend adventures and telling her friends what she got up to herself. Also her weekends have usually filled her head with exciting new ideas of things to try in the coming week, so let's give Mondays a break.

Time for a serious fact for #8, because some things aren't very exciting but they are still important.

Fact #8 - Zappy Mazz believes in GOOD TIMEKEEPING.

There are already not enough hours in the day so being careless with them seems like a silly thing to do, and being late when other people are having to loose their time waiting for you is a bit mean and rude isn't? 

Of course sometimes time gets away from you, or is taken up by something unavoidable, because of this Mazz does her best to leave a little extra in her plans to avoid wasting anybodies time.

What a boring fact! How unMazz-like, but I did promise to investigate Zappy Mazz in full and its all part of the bigger picture...

Project ZM - Fact #7

Hello Hello!

Ready for another Zappy Mazz fact?

Of course you are!

Fact #7 - Zappy Mazz is a bit of a fan of SCI FI & FANTASY

 It is Zappy Mazz's ambition to meet Yoda and refine her use of the Force.

She doesn't dress up as Spock and go to conventions though, and she can't tell you how many seats there are in an AT-AT, that isn't how Zappy Mazz's mind works, after all, if she stored too many of those facts in her little head where would be the space for all the exciting new ideas she likes to have?

But she is very fond of books and films that have quirky creatures in them, such as; The Fifth Element (look out for Zorg's pet monster-Picasso) Labyrinth (Mazz broke the tape by watching the bits with Ludo in too much) Star Wars, Hellboy, Pan's Labyrinth.... well, you get the idea.

I wonder what the next fact we uncover will be?

Hello! Well. lets crack right on with Fact #6 as Zappy Mazz is still engaged in her mysterious activities (which seem, among other things to involve quite a lot of drawing on post-it notes)...

 Fact #6- Zappy Mazz is a LOVER NOT A HATER

She believes in solving conflicts with reasonable negotiation not brute force, although she likes to think she'd show due aptitude for swashbuckling if ever called upon to join forces with a band of adventuring Pirates....

Oh Dear it seems that gremlins got into Blogger and not only prevented people from posting new posts, but have also eaten some of the old ones! (A little bird tells me thay are going to replace the missing ones very soon though...)

Zappy Mazz Fact#3

Alright! I have subdued the internet sappers for a few minutes so lets sneak an extra Zappy Mazz fact in whilst they are not looking.....

Following right on from fact #2 we have:

FACT #3:    Zappy Mazz loves DRAWING THINGS, especially Monsters.

Mazz sometimes gets so engrossed in what is appearing from her pencil or paintbrush that she doesn't have time to eat, but that's ok because it's much more exciting to discover a new creature than it is to absorb nutrients.....right?

 It is a well documented fact that Monster's are generally not born, they are made. And true to this old adage Zappy Mazz seems to have come into being in the natural fashion for most little monsters......

Back again? Fantastic! - we should start work on a secret handshake......

Here is a sneak preview of the Mysterious package Zappy Mazz had delivered to a very special secret location in London at around 4pm yesterday:

We don't have confirmed reports of whether the package has reached Agent A for the exchange was made with a field operative codename Operative MK but until we have more information for you I will continue to share the background report that I am compiling on Zappy Mazz.....

Welcome to Project Zappy Mazz!

Hello!

So today is the big day, prepare to meet Zappy Mazz as she is unveiled to the world.........
(or at least some select and uber secret agents in the smoke)

Sorry for the poor quality of this image, Zappy Mazz is a super-rare one of a kind little creature and getting pics of her hasn't always been an easy task.

And what's more, this little monster is up to something! some of the details are highly classified top secret and for our London operatives eyes only but fortunately I have managed to ferret out a few sneaky insights as to what the devil is going on.....

Over the coming days, weeks, months etc. I intend to update project ZM with what I have managed to discover of Zappy Mazz's actions and intentions* along with some interesting research I have been doing into her history and habits.

*thats right, even I, Zappy-Mazz's right-hand biographologist don't know exactly what is going to happen next... O_O
